It's film time but I procrastinate so much anyways why not.

Film Tests

I've been doing some style tests these last couple days to figure out how my film will look.

Here's a couple.  

the backgrounds are photo collages and painted shadows.

the characters are just single TVP images.

I think I need to do a full pipeline test to see if this could actually work.

I'm not sure I can animate the way I draw single images very well.

guess we'll just have to find out.

Still just a test. 

I'm not sure if I'll actually stick with it but I think I like it.

more life drawing

Trying to get better at story telling in life drawing while getting movement and expressions.

here's stuff from class this Tuesday.

A lot of these could have been pushed a lot further.

But here they are..

trains!

A homework assignment from Cinematography class. 

We had to design and train/train station and create 2 shots where it is seen in a hero and villain light.

I think I misinterpreted it as I used the same shot rather than different shots for each.

I also think this is the first time I've done any kind of painting in a super long time. 

So that's my excuse...

It could definitely be more defined and proportions and placement could be improved. 

But I hope it at least kind of gets the look I wanted across.
