Tweaked the colors and stuff forever and it's still not right yet.

I'm starting it back up again.

Unlike last time most of them will probably actually be sketches like this one.

Sketch for the morning!

Saw a video recently of a guy who taped himself as a 12 year old and 20 years later had a conversation with himself.  

It was really funny and I recommend you watch it if you haven't.

watching it reminded me of a conversation I had with a friend recently. 

During which I talked a bit about myself as a kid.

One of them being that at a certain age, I genuinely wanted to be a cowboy.

I'd walk around with the hat, neck tie, boots, and of course a cap gun.

The full gear really.

I thought cowboys were the coolest.

I remember doing so at random moments during the week.

At church especially...

Thinking back, I'm starting to think I was a pretty cool kid.

And I know back then I thought I was pretty cool too... because I was a cowboy.

whatever happened to that cool kid...?

Thinking back made me smile a bit.

Maybe I'll do some more sketches of other stuff I remember haha.

I've been a bit busier than I thought I'd be. 

It's great but now I really want to do my own thing.

I start sketchbooks and leave them unfinished a lot of times. 

But every once in a while (when I don't have any more sketchbooks) I start up old ones again. 

 

It's always cool to see old sketches and doodles that were done a year ago right besides new ones.

I like to think I improve sometimes.

But sometime old sketches that aren't the greatest have some good memories attached to them

Powergirl!

During my last night with T and Charley I decided to do a quick drawing with T.

He has a lot of comic books and it made me want to draw a superhero!

So of course T wanted to draw Powergirl.

We both did our own versions!

been a while since my last post.  I've been doodling and drawing everyday but it's on my sketchbook so it's tricky to show it online.  Once I move in to my apartment I'll do more digital stuff.

for now here's 2 pictures from a phone!  I'm having a really fun time drawing.  So much more fun than usual, it's weird.  I think it's because it's summer and I'm always with friends which makes me very calm and relaxed.

I've been crashing and hanging out with my friends T and Charley in North Hollywood for about a week and it's been the most chill week I've had in a while.  I really like it and I know I'll miss it when I head back.  Hopefully if I get a car I can visit more!

couldn't sleep last night.  Here are some of the doodles I did.  Trying to get used to a tablet again.

I saw The Avengers opening night and have been meaning to draw some fanart of it for a while.

Super fun movie!  Made even better by the opening night crowd.

I'm actually not a fan of the Hulk in general.  But in the movie he was funny and cool so I decided to draw him!  I'm a huge fan of most of the characters and their designs so if I can I'm definitely gonna do more!  (you guys should join!!! )

due to computer problems I basically ended up redoing this 3 times.

the colors are soooo much different.  The original was much more normal.

I'm not sure if I like it or not.

*Also, out of boredom I'm probably going to start a DeviantArt and Tumblr.  Who's got one of those?  I wanna have friends 

My 2nd Year Film

Here it is, my second year film.

Not what I hoped it would be.

I foolishly started late and it bit me in the butt.

but I learned a lot and now it's time to move on and make something better!

Films are officially over.  It's a bit weird to draw something that's not related to films.

I started watching Louis CK.  Really funny.  Started drawing him and ended up drawing Batman.  It's still got Louis's clumpy body.
